Identity, Brand Positioning, Packaging & Website:
The Pesto Project

A Bangalore based hydroponic basil farm reached out with the goal of setting up a local subscription based pesto delivery service. They needed a brand name, visual identity and website that communicated the premium artisanal nature of the product and was vibrant, fun and youthful so as to add joy the prospect of eating healthy.

BRAND IDENTITY

Three distinct brand identities were designed and presented to the client, each with a complete colour scheme, graphics system and research supported names. The option presented below was selected by the client.

Further, LadderHead created the brand positioning strategy and wrote the brand story to achieve a holistic brand identity.To communicate the freshness of the product, the USP being that the basil is harvested and the finished bottled pesto is delivered to the subscribers within the same day each month, we created the following slogan: "FROM HARVEST TO YOUR HOME. ALL IN A DAY'S WORK!"
